Description

Woof Wear’s Polar Ice Boots are a practical solution to cool legs after intensive exercise or to aid recovery from a variety of leg injuries.

The removable gel packs can be applied straight from the freezer and moulded around the tendons as they remain flexible when frozen.

Riders love the versatility of Woof Wear’s Polar Ice Boot.  It can be used with hot or cold gel packs.

The boot contacts horizontal pockets to position the packs perfectly around the leg.  Each boot contains 2 gel packs.  Extra gel packs are available to purchase separately as well so that you can keep a spare set in the freezer ready for use at all times!

Reviews

“Woof Wear Ice Therapy Boots are so simple to use it makes my life so much easier. I use them mainly at 3 day events and at home for injuries, I love these boots and regularly use them for hot and cold. The great thing about the Ice Therapy Boots is they take all the hassle out of hot poulticing and old fashioned icing of a horse’s leg. I put the gel packs in the microwave and they are brilliant for bruises and in the freezer they stay malleable for use to cool the horse’s legs when necessary.”

“I use the Ice Therapy boots every day, they are an essential item in our kit as each horse will wear them for approx. 20 minutes after schooling or competitions.  The boot itself is a good fit which doesn’t slip down, I like the fact that the packs are so easy to mould to the horse’s leg as they stay soft when they come out the freezer.  I’ve used boots in the past where they go solid once frozen and not only are they hard and uncomfortable for the horse, in my experience they have a tendency to split, so for me this is a huge benefit to the ‘stay soft’ Woof Wear hot & cold packs. We have a basic freezer in the lorry and we manage to reuse the boots again in the afternoon after only a few hours in the freezer which is a great help as it means we do not need to take too many packs.”
