Description
THE HUNTER H STIRRUP
Based upon the standard Hunter Stirrup design from Flex On, the ‘H’ has become Flex-On’s flagship model. Originally designed for the US working hunter market where classic design is of paramount importance, the elegant lines are now complimented by a beautiful chrome finish making it the perfect choice for riders who favour a traditional, smart look coupled with cutting edge technology.
This stirrup is strong and light and offered here with an inclined foot plate and an ultra grip tread (flat plates and/or standard grip footbeds are available by special order). The Hunter caliper has exactly the same technical characteristics as Flex-On’s entry level Green Composite Stirrup and the very popular Aluminium Stirrup but with different styling.
FLEX-ON TECHNOLOGY APPLIED TO ALL FLEX-ON STIRRUPS:
1. SHOCK ABSORPTION: The shock absorption system developed by Flex-On is distinguished by a wide floor which is based on elastomeric springs sized for all equestrian disciplines. Underfoot, this technology maximises comfort and preserves the rider’s physique. There is a decrease in muscle work and chronic pain, particularly ankles, knees and back.
2. THE POSITIONING OF THE STIRRUP: The eye of the stirrup is offset to provide optimum positioning of the lower leg. The instant the rider puts their foot in the stirrup, they position themselves perfectly, increasing connection with the horse. The stirrup is easier to locate with the foot and there is less tension in the ankle joint.
3. ERGONOMICS: The dimensions of the Flex-On stirrup allow perfect postural alignment (shoulders-hips-heels). The angle of its inclined floor favours a natural descent of the heel. NB A flat footbed, available by special order, is recommended for a rider with hyperlaxed ankles. Even without thinking about it your posture is positively adjusted. Each fulcrum is optimised and the foot stays in place, reducing fatigue.
