Shock-Absorbing Stirrups for Improved Comfort and Performance

Developed through the partnership between a showjumper and an engineer (Caroline and Laurent Bordes), Flex-On set about creating a solution for sore knees and ankles experienced by many riders on the competition circuit and the Flex-On Stirrup was born.

This Aluminium version is the flag ship stirrup of the Flex-On range.  Offering exceptional stability and technical performance, they are also undeniably beautiful to look at!  Combining precision engineering and sleek styling, they are the ultimate piece of kit.  The aluminium used in their manufacture is the same ultra-lightweight material used in aeronautics and the frame is ergonomically designed to improve your performance and comfort.

This model features Flex-On‘s unique Inclined Ultra Grip footbed with small hardened steel studs to prevent the rider’s foot from slipping on the tread.  The incline is set to assist the rider in maintaining a correct and consistent foot angle whilst the stirrup leather slot is also carefully angled to encourage the correct low leg position.  This added stability reduces stress and strain on the rider’s ankle, knee and hip joints and many riders report reduced pain and discomfort from existing conditions.

The Flex-On Aluminium Stirrups can also be customised using Flex-On‘s magnetic inserts to suit your preferred style or to coordinate with sponsor’s colour schemes.
